Meet James
Licensed Massage Therapist
As a runner and active person, I view massage as an essential part of healthy living. Like many athletes, I've had my share of injuries, from minor aches & pains, to torn ligaments and tendons. Along the way, I've tried many different therapies, but what has worked best in all aspects of training and performance has been massage.
I trained as a Massage Therapist after many years as a baker, and graduated from The Massage School in Easthampton. My work since then has been quite varied, from spa to sporting events to cancer therapy. I studied oncology massage to work with clients through all aspects of their treatment and afterwards, to keep them safe and comfortable and help them maintain quality of life. Similarly, I studied sports massage to enable athletes to train and recover more quickly, maintain their fitness, and to arrive at the starting line or event relaxed and focused to achieve their goals. And I have worked several years at a local spa,
helping clients relieve the stresses of everyday life. Sometimes all you need is a quiet hour in someone else's care, away from the phone, car & computer to relax & rejuvenate.
I approach my practice with compassion, integrity and an interest in improving the health and happiness of all my clients. I am LGBTQ friendly and happy to work with all clients who are looking to relax and improve their quality of life through massage.

From 'simple' relaxation to more focused work, I belive massage allows the client to gain a relationship with their body in a more conscious and informed way, acknowledging issues that may be in the background, and dealing with problems when they arise. Massage helps you to be more relaxed and focused, whether you are a serious athlete, a weekend warrior, or just trying to make it through the struggles of everyday life.
